South Asian Law Student Association (SALSA)

Mission Statement:

SALSA at SCU is dedicated to promoting the professional and social needs of South Asian law students through mentorship programs, networking events and education. These opportunities allow South Asian law students and those interested in South Asian and South Asian American issues to gather together, create support networks and form lasting communities. In addition, SALSA is dedicated to enhancing the professional growth of its members through affiliation with the South Asian Bar Association in the greater bay area and the national North American South Asian Law Students Association. lasting communities.

Description:

SALSA is a student based organization that serves as a forum to connect those in the Law School who identify with, or are interested in, South Asian culture and/or legal issues. SALSA welcomes all law students with an interest to join and participate in its various networking and social events. In addition, SALSA encourages overlap and communication between other student organizations to create a more unified legal community among Santa Clara Law students. events.
