Exam Rescheduling Form

COURSE INFORMATION

POLICY

An examination may be rescheduled only for one of the following reasons:

    Administrative Conflict:

  1. Two exams scheduled back to back; i.e., one exam at 6:00 p.m. and another at 9:00 a.m. the next morning
  2. Two exams on the same day
  3. Personal Conflict:

  4. The student's serious illness or other medical emergency
  5. Extraordinary and compelling reasons beyond the student's control
  • For (1) and (2) above, the student must request a reschedule 8 weeks prior to the start of the exam period.
  • For (3) and (4) above, the student must submit a request for rescheduling of exam to the Student Services Office as soon as possible, but prior to the start of scheduled exam. The Senior Assistant Dean for Student Services, in consultation with the professor, will determine if the exam will be rescheduled.
  • Note: Students who are ill at the time of their exam should consult the head proctor prior to opening their exam packet. Once students see the exam, it is not possible to reschedule. Whenever a required course or a bar course conflicts with an elective course, the elective exam will be rescheduled. If a required course conflicts with a bar course, the bar course will be rescheduled. We will respond to your request as soon as we have all exam information. An email will be sent to you with your rescheduled date and time.
